In Vietnamese, there are various ways to express purpose. These expressions are used differently depending on the context, affirmative or negative nuances, and what the speaker wants to emphasize. In this lesson, we will summarize and introduce the expressions commonly used by Vietnamese people to express purpose in both daily conversation and formal situations.<\/p>\n

This expresses the purpose of an action. It is the most common expression and can be used in both formal and casual situations.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Expresses wishes, personal motives, or subjective feelings. Commonly used in daily conversation.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

“C\u1ed1t l\u00e0” means “the main purpose is…”, and it can sometimes contain deeper intentions or negative nuances.
\n“Mi\u1ec5n l\u00e0” means “as long as…”, expressing a condition of acceptance.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
