Just like the sentence-ending particles<\/strong> introduced in Lesson 36<\/a>, speakers can add emotion to their statements by placing certain words at the very end of a sentence. In this lesson, we will introduce emphatic expressions where words are added before<\/em> nouns or verbs to emphasize the speaker’s feelings or the degree of the action.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing Verbs<\/span><\/h2>\n
To strongly emphasize an action (“really do” \/ “actually do”)\u3000 \u27a1\u3000\u3010 C\u00f3 <\/span><\/strong>+ Verb \u3011<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
