In this lesson, we will study the Vietnamese interrogative sentence structure using <\/span>“c\u00f3\uff5ekh\u00f4ng?”<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In everyday conversations, questions in the form of <\/span>“\uff5ec\u00f3\uff5ekh\u00f4ng?”<\/b> are commonly used. In Lesson 9<\/a>, we introduced how to use <\/span>“c\u00f3\uff5ekh\u00f4ng?”<\/b> questions to ask about someone\u2019s condition or feelings. In this lesson, we will explore other ways to use this structure in detail.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basic Structure<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Subjects <\/strong>(Nouns or Personal pronouns) + c\u00f3 <\/span>+ Predicates <\/strong>(Verbs or Adjectives) +\u00a0kh\u00f4ng?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

The word “c\u00f3”<\/strong> <\/span>before the Predicates can be omitted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding Complementary Meaning to Sentences<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To provide more specific meaning to a sentence, a complement is placed immediately after the predicate (verb or adjective).<\/span><\/p>\n
